Experiential Games in the Classroom (A Poster Session): Games and gamification are buzzwords in education: in addition to popular curricular games such as Reacting to the Past, instructors are increasingly incorporating games and the idea of game-play into their curricula as a pedagogical tool. We propose a poster session that allows for interactive, hands-on discussion between presenters and presentees. Posters and practical demonstrations together will showcase ways in which game-based pedagogy can foster experiential learning about the Middle Ages.
